* ADVENTURE EXCURSIONS TO THE AMAZON RAINFOREST

For those who wish to sleep away from any type of civilized noise and to explore the magical and incredible treasure of life we have in our rainforest, we are offering excursions to some of the principal Reserves in Loreto's Region:

EXCURSION TO THE PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE
(Recommendable for up to 6 days trip)

This wonderful excursion, special for adventure travelers, is a magnificient opportunity to enter deep into the Reserve as well as to know the traditions of the Cocamas cocamillas native communities, which live there even before it was created. They have organized themselves to show the Reserve to the visitors, with the purpose of getting an internal development of their community as well as to help on the protection of it.
The excursion includes: authorization and entrance fee to the National Reserve, round trip transportation by ferry boat, lodging in a visitor's house specially built by the community, and camping in the forest, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), daily excursions with local guide such as: bird-watching, hiking, canoeing, sport fishing, night excursions and many other activities according to your interest or preferences…

 
EXCURSION TO THE TAMSHIYACU-TAHUAYO COMUNAL RESERVE
(Recommendable for 3 to 5 days excursion)

This beautiful area, land of the most diverse Primate species, such as the Pichico Barba Blanca (Saguinus Mystax) or the Red Uakari, is located about 150 km south of Iquitos and it is possible to acces only by boat.

In here we find private lodges builded in typical wood, which have good accomodations and exciting excursions that include the following services: Transportation by speed boat in/out the lodge, lodging in bungalows with private or sharing bathrooms, all meals and permanent potable water, specialized bilingual guides and daily activities such as: hiking, canoeing, sport fishing, bird-watching, day and night excursions according to your interest or preferences…

EXCURSION TO THE ALLPAHUAYO-MISHAMA NATIONAL RESERVE

(Recommendable for full day excursion)

With 57,600 hectareas and very close to Iquitos city, is one of the rare and peculiar ecosystems of the amazon rainforest, where the forest known as "varillales", grow in white sand and is surrounded by crystaline streams.

It is possible to arrive to the principal entrance of the Reserve in less than an hour by car. Here is located an Information & Research Center, where you could find all the data about the incredible variety of species that live in this area and different kind of projects regarding medicinal plants, fruits and others.

Recommendable excursion for hikers and lovers of nature.
